I am looking at creating a website that is going to positioned in the social networking sphere.

There are a few applications that I plan to put up in this site that act as the USP for my site. To build these apps, one may require skills on the following:
- General understanding of social networking platforms
- Standard social networking APIs (Playing around with Google maps as the foundation)
- Idea of Face Recognition technology

I want my site to be in sync with the web 2.0 philosphy.

I need considerable time to discuss the business aspects with the developer and it is an absolute must that the person taking this forward signs confidentiality agreement.
